Where is the chalet?
Chalet Orgueil is located in Essert Romand - a 5 minute drive from the centre of Morzine and its lifts, and 10 from the Ardent lift and its links to Avoriaz. Essert Romand is a typical Savoyarde village with chocolate box chalets and stunning mountain views. It is perfect for groups of adults and families who seek a truly magical and peaceful environment for their holiday. Our local family-run bar and restaurant is a stone's throw away from the chalet, for those who wish to enjoy a change of scenery and a pre-dinner aperitif in a truly French environment. An hourly bus service to Morzine runs through the village.

Guests are welcome to enter the chalet as from 4pm on arrival day. Please book your flights with this in mind. The chalet will not be ready for occupancy before this time, although luggage can be left in the games room on the ground floor until the chalet changeover is completed.
On departure day we ask that guests leave the chalet by 9.30am so that changeover for incoming guests may commence. Again, luggage can be left in the games room for collection later.
What if I want to arrive/depart outside specified times?

For this amount we are able to offer you the the additional services of transport to and from the ski lifts, facilities of the shower room and afternoon tea after the specified departure time.
You will be asked at the time of booking whether you would like this additional service.

Can you recommend a ski school?
Many guests have enjoyed lessons with Easy2Ride who offer a range of classes and private lessons for all abilities. Importantly, the class sizes are small and instructors are all English or English speaking. We ask that guests liaise directly with Easy2Ride to ensure the ideal lessons are booked. For children, an awards ceremony at the end of their week's lessons is a memorable way to finish their holiday. Please note that peak weeks get booked up very quickly so please book well in advance of your holiday to avoid disappointment.
The Edge Snowports, a small English school offers private or small group lessons.
Also highly popular is BASS, which guarantees English speaking instructors and small lesson sizes, and Freedom2Ski a small but highly recommended ski school.
The above-mentioned service providers are suggestions only.

For children of 3 and over (must be potty trained) the ESF crèche, The Piou Piou Club can offer morning and/or afternoon childcare. Please refer to www.esf-morzine.com for full details. During peak weeks, full week's bookings are normally only taken.

Unfortunately, guests are not permitted to use cooking facilities to prepare food.
What happens on staff Day Off?
Once a week your chalet staff enjoy a well deserved day off. Breakfast will be laid out for you as normal, but guests are asked to clear the table. Afternoon tea is provided as normal, but guests are not catered for in the evening. We will be happy to make suggestions for restaurants and book a table on your behalf.
Can I hire the whole chalet?
Yes - please enquire. This option will be assured only if the full balance payment is received. If the number in your party decreases the full balance will still be due.
Sole occupancy only applies if the full balance for this option is received. Should the number in the group decrease and full payment, when due, has not been received to secure sole occupancy, Boutique Ski reserves the right to market available places for that week. Guests already booked into the chalet may incur an extra charge for sole occupancy of the rooms if the make up of their group so requires.
Can I have a room to myself?
Prices per person are based on 2 or 3 sharing a room. A single occupancy surcharge of £200 applies should a guest wish to have a room of their own.
Are young babies allowed in the chalet?
Babies younger than 1 year old are not permitted to stay in the chalet unless sole occupancy by the group is secured. We reserve the right to turn down a booking if the number of young children is more than four.
Can you provide a cot and other baby equipment?
Yes, the chalet has one travel cot and a limited supply of baby bedding. Other equipment can be hired by us. A charge of £150 is made for infants under the age of 2 years. Baby food, nappies and other baby supplies are not included. To reduce parents' luggage, we are able to shop for baby supplies if you supply us with a list. Payment should be made in resort in euros.
Can we arrive/depart on days other than Saturday?
Short breaks may be possible, mainly in January. The standard rate for short stays is £110 per person per day. Short breaks prevent full week's bookings to be taken, and usually must either start or finish on a Saturday.
